I’m trying to deploy some Windows 10 machines at work, and need to remove or disable the pre-installed apps. We’ve tried uninstalling them after the fact, but they show up again for any new users logging in, which isn’t acceptable. How do we really get rid of these apps from our corporate Windows 10 image?

You can’t on Pro using GPOs. MS removed that ability to basically force companies to go enterprise or purchase some Azure subs. As for images We are a service provider and work with a lot of clients with very different environments. The majority of deployed workstations are HP with a few Dells here and there. Hardware differences are the biggest concern with images. I tried once to deploy from images, but in the end it took more time to update drivers, etc.
The only VL software deployed at client sites are Server and Office products. None of our clients have VL licenses for Win If you create your image as a virtual machine you don’t have to worry about drivers.
Programs like MDT will inject the most current driver you have imported for that piece of hardware.
