Teams lets you invite people outside your organization, including those who don’t have a Teams license.

You’ll need their full email address to invite them. Go to where it says Add required attendees. If anyone is an optional attendee, select Optional instead. To get access to this and other upcoming features, switch to Teams public preview. After you’ve invited people to your meeting, you can add up to 10 co-organizers to help manage your meeting.

In the links provide it does not seem to address the issue which is what I am looking for as well. I want to have our 3rd party meeting rooms join Teams meetings. As you said it can be done but I can’t find the option in the Teams admin portal to enable that link. I am guessing it is a global license component for Teams but I can’t find any information out there.

I was able to get it resolved through our IT department – I had to be added to the system as a valid user. I’m unclear on which system, but I suspect it was some sort of Teams room that was associated with the Poly conferencing system.
